Uncle Tim & Malou

Dad left a comment requesting for pictures of him and Malou, so, here they are. It took Malou about a week to warm up to Dad, but now she likes him and they have a pretty fun time playing.

Malou has been with us now for a week and a half. Everyday she continues to teach us and make us laugh. We are loving the fact that she is here and dreading the day she has to leave. We still don't know when that will be, but we are hoping it is a long time from now. Em, our grandma, arrived in Dayton on Saturday. We are very excited to have all the girls at the house, this will be the last time we are all together for almost 4 years. But for now we are soaking in every moment that we can.

A couple of weeks ago, we took a trip down to Louisville for Dad's Birthday. There, we visited the Louisville Slugger Museum and Churchill Downs. We had fun seeing how bats were made and experiencing a day as a jockey. At the Kentucky Derby Museum, we got to see a movie about Derby Day, ride in a virtual horse race, and tour the track. At the Bat Museum, we saw the biggest bat in the world and Dad was able to track down some Johnny Bench memorabilia,( such as bats, hall of fame plaques, and gloves) Speaking of gloves, Charissa, Analise and I got to sit on the biggest glove that we had ever seen! Louisville was fun and the Birthday trip was a success!

It always seems that my sisters and I are laughing or giggling about something. In many cases it is just pure goofiness, but alot of the time Analise and I are laughing at the faces that Charissa is making. This blog isn't large enough to hold all of those faces so here are the slim few of them...

Wednesday, August 2nd our cousin Malou, and Aunt Angela arrived in Dayton. Angela came to bring Malou because she is staying with us for a couple of weeks. Malou will turn 2 in October so she is quite the entertainer. Our family is very excited about her visit!
